Don't we are, thats the reason I'm considering selling 1 on my replays, that I really don't use, if I had plenty of money I would just keep it for a spare

Check out amazom.com too. I bought a lifetime replay 5040 for $220 including shipping 3 weeks ago. I hit that buy button so fast I couldn't even see my hand move.

They're selling for $350 and up on ebay ( you'll be lucky to get one for 350 there)

You must have come across once in a lifetime deal, someone didn't know what they had, most on ebay are closer to or over $400, depending on the size of hard drive.

I gave $385 w/ shipping for my lifetime 5040 on ebay. I upgraded to a 400 GB hdd and have just under $500 in it. I have another with a 250 GB hdd w/ lifetime that I think I gave around $450 for it around 2 years ago.

Funny how you mentioned that. I have no clue how much I have invested in my Replay. I think I paid about $300.00 for mine plus the $299 lifetime. Extra Routers, eithernet cable, wiring, remote extenders, bought a 450 gig hard drive on a black friday sale at Officemax for $50.00. Directv changed the serial port codes on my receiver during a software upgrade. (I had to buy an adapter do hicky to convert the new codes to the old codes for something like $50.00), wireless bridges, surge protectors, battery back up, I was using a phone line for a little while to get the guide (didn't want to drill extra holes in the floor for more eithernet cables). No local number for that, not sure how much I paid in long distance.. LOL
