My HT project was defined tonight:

110" High Definition video, over 1000 Watts of 7.1 channel DTS surround, 5 black leather recliner chairs, total basement renovation including a wrap around bar and full bathroom..... came down to Baby Einstein's 'Wheel's of the Bus Go Round & Round' on repeat for my 8 & 23 month old girls. Gotta love it!! :D

Four, seven and nine. Since I've had a theater for eight years several babies have been in there with me.

Two, five and seven.... I don't know what I would do without the Disney flicks upconverted. They have all been troopers, they love watching movies.

Two boys, 11 and 12... and when they're really good, I let them plug in the Xbox ! :D It's kinda nice now that we can not only Pixar together, but view more of the 'mature age group' films.

Mind you, they did have a blast watching Karate Kid last night! Time to drag out some 'oldies' ;)

2 girls 1 and 4 and my son 8. We just watched tonight The Wild with all of them and we let my 8 yr. old stay up for New Years and we watched Garfield 2 Tail of Two Kitties. My son loves watching movies in the theater with dad. My daughters do watch, but are more twitchy and have a bit of trouble sitting still through a whole movie, but do. I look forward to it when the whole family is with me enjoying the theater.

Happy New Year!

My little girl will turn 1 in about 2 weeks and we watch football every Sunday in the theater. She doesn't really watch movies , YET, but we are starting to build her own DVD collection. This of course is in addition to the ones that I have, such as The Incredibles, Monster's Inc, Finding Nemo, etc.

Man they grow quick..... :D

This theater is great for birthday parties no matter how old you are.

I have a 6 1/2 year old son, a 4 year old daughter, and a 6 week old daughter. We watched Napoleon Dynamite on Saturday. And the night before we wathed "Fearless" with Jet Li. We also, play X-Box on it to with them. They watch several movies on it. We all love it because it is better than the actual movie theater.

We have a 110 inch screen with a 5.1 system. Also, the seating is 7 Berklines. The kids LOVE it all.

I have a 4yr old son and a 2yr old daughter and we only watch movies occasionaly in the theater. They're both pretty active and have trouble sitting for 1-1.5 hours for the typical disney movie. Their current dvd favorites are Brother Bear, Backyardigans, Dora & Deigo, and a saturday morning show called Lazytown. The boy and I watch SB SquarePants, Avatar, and Ben10 everynight on Nickelodeon. Great father & son time. :) It cracks my wife up that I can watch the shows even when he isn't around. I guess I'm just a big kid... :D

2 four-year old boys... twins!

They took over my first TV (a Toshiba 52 inch DLP) which will be in their playroom. They like to play their games on it.

Next they took over my 50 inch 8UK plasma and had been watching their favorite shows on it.

Once I get my dedicated home theater set up (with a 120' 2.35 screen), they will probably take over that too.

Whatever happen to starting off on a small 20' inch tube tv? Yeah, I know, I spoil them to death.

Can't help it!

5 1/2 month old baby girl, our first. She loves to watch Law and Order on the 100" FH but the "doom-doom" sounds makes her jump every time. nemo and baby crack...err einstein seem to hold her attention the best.

18 month old boy, first kid I have ever even been around ... he loves classical baby (or as he refers to it, baby). If I am in the office he even comes in and asks for it since he knows he can get it on the pc. They pick up on things pretty quick. In our current remodel we are changing our family room to a wall mount tv so that we can subvert his uncontrollable desire to put 'nana and apple handprints everywhere.

Austin will be 4 in Feb. and Allie just turned 2 in Nov. We had Allie's Bday party at our house this year. Had Cinderella playing in the Living Room upstairs on the SD 36" JVC to go with the theme of the "Princess" party; and had Cars playing downstairs in the Game Room/Theater on the 96" screen for the boys that came. Eventually the party moved downstairs!!

4 year old and an 18 month old. They have their own 36" TV in their game room that they occasionally use.

Once or twice per month I'll take the 4 year old into the theater and will watch Over The Hedge or The Incredibles or Cars or something like that. None of his crappy TV DVD's (Einsteins, Dora, Backyardigans, Bob the Builder, etc.) have every graced the screen and since the theater door stays locked at all times, I doubt they ever will.

Once the 18 month old turns 3 we'll probably start having family movie night.

My "little ones" are growing fast, but as teenagers, they and their friends hang out at our house to watch a movie in the theater.
It's nice to know where they are and what they're doing.
