I am looking for a cover for the low voltage power supply. I am working on trying to remove all fans from the xg1100, except for the h deflection fan. I will replace it with a quiet fan.
Thanks
Hilton

Thanks Hilton kschmit2 12-31-06, 04:32 AM if you remove all the fans except for the h deflection fan you will kill the PJ once you switch it on. hjhjr 12-31-06, 09:57 AM I am using a plenium on the top of the ceiling mounted 1100 that pulls air through the bottom, which now is on the top, of the projector. I am checking the temperature of all heat sinks and the deflection yokes. I am also overiding the fan locked sensors. I will post pictures when complete. I will also have a sensor that will activate the fan fail sensor of the projector if the plenium fan fails. Ben Sonynut 01-02-07, 01:37 AM I have thought of a similar idea with a tight fitting hushbox on my 1272. It consists of a ducted hushbox that seals tight against the outside of the lenses and forces air into and out of the projector. A tie-in to the rotor lock sensors would be a necessity though. This offers a completely silent solution. |
