I'm working on whole house audio and was wondering if anyone is using ir eyes and/or keypads outside. Have you had any failures? I'm thinking about sticking a couple outside in sheltered areas and wondering how long they're going to last. I'll probabably replace them with IR eyes if they fail.

I have an outside keypad, it is under cover but outside in the Seattle area and I live on the ocean. It is going on 3 years and it works fine. I have the B&K keypads, they are like a universal remote.
