Just got my new Logitech Harmony 880 remote for Christmas (which is great!) but having an issue with 1 activity; "Watch a DVD". My AV Receiver is not turning on unless I do the help on the remote. If I do that, it works everytime and turns on just fine.

Everything else works flawlessly
Here's my setup:

TV: Samsung DLP TV - HLN4365W
HD & DVR Digital Cable Box from Comcast: Motorola
DVD Player - Samsung DVD-HD931
Xbox 360

Here's my other activities in the remote that work:

Watch TV (turns on Digital Cable box, TV)
Watch TV with Stereo (turns on Digital Cable box, TV and AV Receiver)
Play XBOX 360 (which turns on my TV, AV Receiver and XBOX 360)

So, I did the online help and played around with the intercomponent speed delay setting (started at 0ms and then worked all the way up to 5000ms, at 100ms at a time, but nothing; still doesn't turn on when I do that activity).

When I do the help from the remote it turns on, but when I go to turn everything off, it doesn't shutoff either (without doing the help again from the remote).

I'm thinking, is there a way to tell an activity the order you want the components turned on? I'm thinking that might be the solution if I can turn that one first, but not sure.

Everything else works just fine, just this one activity (Watch a DVD)

Any help is greatly appreciated! Also, I updated the firmware and software to the latest and greatest, but still nothing.

Any ideas?

Which receiver?
When you're in "Watch TV" and then press "Watch TV with stereo" does the receiver turn on? When you're in "Watch TV with stereo" and then press "Watch TV" does the receiver turn off?

I tried it, it does. The receiver turns on fine like it should with the Watch TV with Stereo. Same with my Xbox 360 Activity. But for some reason when I add the DVD player into the mix, the receiver doesn't do anything.

The receiver is a Kenwood VRS-N8100.

You didn't answer this one: When you're in "Watch TV with stereo" and then press "Watch TV" does the receiver turn off? Also, when you're in "Watch TV with stereo" and press "Watch DVD", does the receiver stay on?

Sorry Cherry, musta looked at your post too fast.

When I'm in the "Watch TV with Stereo" and press "Watch TV" the receiver does shutoff. Also, when I'm in "Watch TV with stereo" and go to my "Watch DVD" the receiver does NOT shutoff.

Any idea what it could be?

Not the answers I was expecting. It sounds like you've got it set up right. Try deleting and recreating the Watch DVD activity.
