Okay, to start I'll be using an LG-47lb1da as my centerpiece for this home theater. Main input devices to be used are going to be my PC I made for this and my Xbox 360, along with my cable set-top box (mandatory in canada)

I want to get started on the audio aspects of this future home theater but just dont know where to start. I want to do 7.1 since I've got LOADS of space to work with in this room. If possible, I'd prefer to do wireless rear speakers to clean things up.

What should be the first thing I research/buy as I piece this together? reciever? speakers? brands? Something I dont even know about? I'm an absolute n00b when it comes to home audio as I've always just used the tv's built in speakers (ugh)

So can someone help put me in the right direction?
