Hello everyone,
I purchased a Samsung HL-S5086W from Circuit City a while back and just figured I would take the time to try and figure out an annoyance I have had with it since I got it.
For some reason the images that are displayed on the screen when I use my VGA or Composite connections are not displayed correctly.
I have black areas around the screen as if these devices aren't selecting the correct resolution.
My S-Video connection works fine, and if I select a resolution higher than 1280 x 720 then the entire screen is used, however the image is then too large for the screen.
I would like to know if there is something I am doing wrong, if my television is broken (I purchased a warranty with it), or if i'll just have to live with this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
