Alrighty, after some thorough research I've finally set my mind on buying a Sharp Aquos LC-46D62U. I will mostly be playing computer games and watching DVDs and therefore I'll need a highest quality monitor with the fastest response time, this one seems to be the one at 4ms timing and 1920x1080 reslution. I'll be getting a HDMI TO DVI cable as well to connect the Pc to this screen. I have an EVGA 8800 GTS, and will be switching from an Acer 22" widescreen. Any thoughts or recommnedations? I'd also like to see some pics of a similar setup if possible.

Thanks again.

Apocolypse,
I've recently built a similar 'dream' home theater setup that you are describing. I bought the little brother to your Sharp, the LC-42D62U. I have an Onkyo TX-SR804 receiver with 1080p pass thru (I originally purchased a Denon AVR-2807 but it lost a rear surround channel and I didn't have the patience to wait for a replacement Denon so I opted for the Onkyo - which I'm very happy with), my media pc is a small Acer slimline - connected as you will be, with an HDMI-DVI adapter cable with RCA cables handling sound to the Onkyo, an Xbox 360 via component cables to the Sharp and digital optical to the Onkyo, a Monster Power HTS 5100 power conditioner, a DirecTV H20 DVR via HDMI to the Onkyo then HDMI out to the Sharp, and a Toshiba HD-A1 HD DVD player via HDMI to the Onkyo then HDMI to the Sharp....topping it all off with a Harmony 890 remote control. I have everything in an entertainment center accessing the internet with a dsl router and a linksys wireless hub.

I'm awaiting shipment of a new HD-AX2 HD DVD player from VE to replace the HD-A1 ( the HD-AX2 puts out 1080p whereas the HD-A1 only does 1080i).

I love the whole arrangement, just working out some programming fine tuning with the Harmony.
