As a newbie here, I had a bit of trouble finding the correct sub-forum for one of my queries...thus, I suggest adding "CRT" to title and related desc might make it easier for others also..

The one I'm referring to is "Direct View (Single tube based) Displays" which for a person like me, who is/was not quite up on terminology here, left me saying "Huh?"...and it was only by reading some threads therein that I realized it was the one for me...So I'd propose maybe saying "(CRT/Single Tube)" instead.

I'd also put something in description pointing out that it is also the forum for more traditional or standard TV sets also, or something to that effect.

Just a suggestion from a newbie point of view, ok?

Saw the desc tweak...thanks! But realize that it may now cause those with HD CRT's to be a bit confused, so one solution I can see is just to add word "also" after "traditional or standard TV", maybe?

It's those little things that can help baffle a newbie...so THANKS on behalf of others like me who have just discovered this great source of info!

BTW, yesterday I posted a reply over at PC Mag forums to someone who was asking about info about HDTV and related stuff...I wrote how much info I was able to get here and pointed him(?) to this fine site!
