I have a 40 inch Sony Bravia XBR1 LCD television that I am looking to get calibrated. I live in the Chicago area. My only hesitation is that in reading some reviews of this tv, they say that you can't access many of the service menu adjustments, including grayscale. In other words, many of the menus can't be accessed or calibrated. Would it still be worth the $300-400 dollars it would cost to calibrate this set? Does anyone have any specific info. or experience with calibrating this model? I have no problem putting out the cash if it will make a difference, but I'm concerned now that an ISF calibrator would be able to get into the service menu. thanks in advance
