malfunction on "av-link"
Hi,
I have a samsung LE-26R71B, and have just bought a hdd recorder pioneer DVR540H-S.
I can not get the function "pause live tv " to work. I have tried to search internet on this problem, and I have found out that the TV and the recorder does not communicate through the scart cable. There is a function called AV-link or smart link or easy link for this communication. Does anybody know if there is some special setup on the TV or maybe the recorder. I have tried to read the manuals for both. And the manual for the recorder has some setups i have tried, but the manual for the TV has no setup suggestions. It does not mention this at all.
Does anybody know something about this problem?

Isn't the "pause live tv" a function of the HDD recorder? I wouldn't think it matters which TV you are using.

Do you have an antenna (or CATV) connected to the HDD recorder? Are you viewing the output of the HDD recorder and not the TV?
