Hello,

I just purchased some MA Bronze B4 speakers and a Denon AVR-2307CI receiver. The MA speakers have 4 speaker posts for bi-wiring. I was told bi-wiring didn't make much of a difference, so I originally just connected the speakers like normal, connecting the wires to the first red post and the first black post and leaving the gold plate jumper installed.

I noticed that the sound was a bit focused on the high end and not a lot of mids were coming through. I looked and the back of the speakers and noticed the first set of posts were for High pass and the second set for low pass. Does it matter which posts the wires are connected to for the crossover to function? I assumed since they were jumpered it wouldn't. Also, I read somewhere that replacing the jumper with speaker wire is a better. Is that true? If so, why? Lastly, should I not bother with bi-wiring as suggested to me earlier?

Thank you all for the help!

No, it doesn't matter as long as the jumpers are in place.

No. You just need good electrical contact. Either will work fine.

Lastly, should I not bother with bi-wiring as suggested to me earlier?

Don't bother. It makes no difference if your speaker cable is already heavy gauge.
