I have been checking into this unit for a while, even downloaded the user manual from JVC, but still have not been able to get my question answered.

I drive 50,000 miles a year and need both HD Radio, Sirius, and Ipod control to help kill the time on the road. I am unsure if this radio will support all three.

The user manual shows one CD changer control on the back, which is suppose to control IPods via the JVC adapter or xm or sirius radio tuner. Looking at the manual, it seems if I went with Sirius their external tuner has a changer input and output. It looks like i could hook up the ipod adapter to the changer output on the Sirius tuner, but im unsure.

Has anyone with this JVC KD-HDR1 radio hooked up both Sirius and the Ipod adapter? Anyone know if this is possible?

I have the HDR1. If you look at the SIR-JVC1, I think this will work for you. I copied this from the JVC web site

Wow thats awesome. Thanks for the info. It seems it should work since the ipod adapter for JVC uses their CD Changer style connection. I'll give it a shot.

One point though, it looks like you won't be able to connect a CD changer if you have the satellite/iPod/AUX connected. Crutchfield says:

The adapter connects to the CD changer input on this unit. When the adapter is connected to this unit, a CD changer cannot be connected.
