I have just purchased a Panasonic 50px60u. I am not a gammer and I really wanted the LCD but found that the refresh problems when watching sports or racing was just to much for my eyes. I would like opinions about the model I have purchased and also tips as far as avoiding burn in. I am not a Plasma expert so please explain what I should do on a normal level. Thanks mrollins. :D

I'm by no means a plasma expert, but I think the general idea for them is to turn down contrast and brightness to below the halfway mark for the first 100 hours or so. Also avoid things like station logos (static images) on the screen for extended periods of time.

Tons of info on this particular set as just do a search. You will find break in settings and others that have suggested optimal settings for the best picture without calibration. Enjoy your new set as Panasonic has a nice picture.
