I am adding a zone of audio in my kitchen/living room. It is an open floor plan so it will be a single zone. I would like the ability to adjust the volume and or turn on or off the speakers in either room independently.

My setup is a denon 3805 being controlled by CQC so control over the source and volume for the entire zone is not a problem. What I would like is an rs-232 controlable speaker selector and volume control device that I could use CQC to control but I can not find one of these. Does any know if such a thing exists?

I could always add a two zone denon stereo receiver, feed it with the preamp outs of my 3805, and control it with CQC.

Any othe suggestions would be great!
