OK, so I would like everyone thoughts/opinions on this matter.

I just bought a Mitsubishi WD-57732.

I would like to get it calibrated.

I searched the ISF website and found a host of trained dealers in Maryland.

I also called the ISF to ask if they had any sort of a rating system for peoples experience level. (i.e. how long have they been doing it)

Also, I would assume that there are lots of different devices and software packages that are in use.

My question is this, just because they've done the week long training, how do you know they know what they are doing?

I'd like to get my set done, but I also don't want it botched.

Any thoughts?

greetings

To scare you more ... the seminar lasts 2 days ... not a week.

Call and ask them what they will do ... get a feel for their knowledge level ...

Or just go look for a travelling calibrator ... the ones that hang out here and you know you are in good hands.

It's a great question. You need to ask them lots of questions. Also, as mentioned, using one of the calibrators around here is probably the best choice. There's the calibrator thread with info and such, etc.
