First off let me say I have spent a lot of time reading this forum and you all are awesome with all the information you provide, so thanks!
Here is my dilemma, my room is 11x15 (not ideal, but hey, its only going to be me in the theater most of the time :) )
On the left side wall (facing the screen wall), there is a closet with double folding doors, probably 5 feet wide, just about a foot off of the screen wall.
On the right side wall (facing the screen wall), there are double windows, probably 5 feet wide, about 5 feet off the screen wall.
My question is what do I cover the doors with in order to maintain good contrast, etc? Is it as simple as some good black velvet or something? Or do I wrap the doors in something like speaker cloth? I am not so much worried about the windows as I am going to do blackout cloth with some black-type curtains anyways. I would love to stay uniform in my use of fabrics in the room, so whatever I do on the left wall (for the closet) and the right wall (for the windows) will probably be duplicated on the opposite wall. I can post up a Visio of the room if you like.
