My wife and I just bought new bedroom furniture and want to wall mount a flat panel HD display over the new dresser. This will not be the primary home theater screen in my house so it doesn't need to be the top of the line or one step below, but I would like something with a great picture, very good color reproduction, good resolution and features, and good reliability. I'm looking for a 40-45" screen with HD resolution (i.e., not an EDTV) for about (or under) $1.3K + tax or shipping. The current recommendation from a few friends is the Panasonic TH-42PX60U which it seems I can get shipped for about $1.3K.
Anyone care to offer other recommendations (or even just support the current recommendation)?
Thanks!
Scott
Easy. Go with your friends recommendation. Of course, there is no "best" but the Panny is right up there.
If you're looking for input from both plasma and lcd owners, you'll want to post in the Flat Panel General forum. In this forum you will get all plasma recommendations. ;)
