I would assume in order to accent Solo, that you would have Star Wars posters or other stuff in your theater.

It's about 75-100Lbs.. It cost a couple grand back in the day. I had a custom light panel molded for it. I have it hanging on the wall as you walk into my loft. I am also in the process of buying a life size Boba Fett..Holy $$$ Batman!

Looks like a pretty ideal spot for a single guy. The apparent size of the deck is the most impressive thing for something in town. Is it mainly just two rooms, smallish bedroom with a big odd shaped room all the other stuff? Sqft?

The parties look fun but I could never see having them because of how people treat stuff when they're drinking and it's not their home, spilled drinks on the pool table, burns etc. Sadly some people intentionally try to destroy stuff in a place like that because of a bad case of envy and it looks like you've got some nice stuff to wreck.

Did you build a MAME machine there or is that something else? Again nice place, do you miss seeing stars and it being dark outside? : ). I used to live in London for 5 years and got very tired of the sickly pinkish / peach sky all night long and lack of any stars although that's a pretty damn cool view you've got.

I have about 2000 sqft on the main floor, about 400sqft in the upstairs room and then about 1800sqtf in the wrap around deck.

For the most part the place is pretty easy to clean after a party. if its summer and on the deck I could care less what people spill. I have had 200 people + parties without any serious damage.

I have been scaling back after a girl of a friend tried to walk out my house with two of my 10k watches... and about 2k worth of my GF jewelry.

She went into my watch winder and grabbed two of them on her way out of the house. She had no idea on the value and I am currently pressing felony charges against her.

Very scary and sad.

I have a Star Wars Pinball and a dedicated Mortal Kombat machine. I used to have allot more but it was just taking up too much space.

Neadless to say, I have been looking for something like what you have. Had an idea to build one with shelves against a wall with the back opening into a closet for housing my HT equipment. I don't know how it is in other parts of the country, but in Scottsdale they judge people on what car they drive and how much bling they have. If your an avarage guy (like me) they would rather spit on you than talk to you. So when I see a post that has incredible hot girls driving Lamborghinis this is the first thing I think of.

I don't care if they have degrees or jobs (that obviously pay way too much) it's how they treat other people I find important. I have a degree in medicine and drive a simple BMW but I do know enough to show people compassion and not judge people on what they look like, what they drive or what they own. (like in Scottsdale) That is all I was trying to say.

Hence why I am jealous, I should have skipped med school and trying to help people and gone into advertising. It obviously pays better.

BTW that Han Solo display is about the coolest thing anyone can ever have in a home.

I periodically look at this thread and enjoy very much all of the things Rastergate has accumulated and the fun life he has. Personally, not being terribly pretty, I've never had that life and my income would never have allowed me to change that.

Rastergate's life and your post indicate how strangly skewed the real world is and how unfair it appears in the process. Please do not get discouraged, I had my son in the emergency room the other night and I just sat there thanking God for the bright ,committed ,compassionate people around us in the middle of the night. Although it may not seem to be the case at times (rastergate and Scottsdale plastic people) folks like you are what matters really. Thanks for being there !

PS I'd love to hang out in the sun with my hands on and my richard in some of those girls myself. Nothing wrong with vicariously living we all do it every day. :D

Does anyone else find it amusing that this thread started about mounting a Han Solo replica. What a turn it has taken
it keeps life interesting for many of us, (unfortunately- we may not have managed to do it ourselves).

I wasn't refering to Rastargate, I said in MY experience, I live near Scottsdale, AZ and you would not believe all the "beautiful" siliconed people driving the fancy cars who just talk about themselves, and how the world revoloves around them. I don't know how it is in other parts of the country, but in Scottsdale they judge people on what car they drive and how much bling they have. If your an avarage guy (like me) they would rather spit on you than talk to you. So when I see a post that has incredible hot girls driving Lamborghinis this is the first thing I think of.

I don't care if they have degrees or jobs (that obviously pay way too much) it's how they treat other people I find important. I have a degree in medicine and drive a simple BMW but I do know enough to show people compassion and not judge people on what they look like, what they drive or what they own. (like in Scottsdale) That is all I was trying to say.

I actually am jealous of rastargate, but you see my job involves saving peoples lives on a daily basis, working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week and just trying to pay off student loans, bills and a mortgage. Which doesnt leave me much time to do things like fly to South beach and party, have strippers surround me while I shower or drive uber expensive itilian sports cars that cost as much as my house. Hence why I am jealous, I should have skipped med school and trying to help people and gone into advertising. It obviously pays better.

BTW that Han Solo display is about the coolest thing anyone can ever have in a home.
dont sweat it; your values are the ones that really matter! and i suspect u know it!; while they're burning down below someday (and i'll probably be w them), you'll be in heaven getting those babes (and they'll still be young!!!!!)(dont we wish?)

I periodically look at this thread and enjoy very much all of the things Rastergate has accumulated and the fun life he has. Personally, not being terribly pretty, I've never had that life and my income would never have allowed me to change that.

Rastergate's life and your post indicate how strangly skewed the real world is and how unfair it appears in the process. Please do not get discouraged, I had my son in the emergency room the other night and I just sat there thanking God for the bright ,committed ,compassionate people around us in the middle of the night. Although it may not seem to be the case at times (rastergate and Scottsdale plastic people) folks like you are what matters really. Thanks for being there !

PS I'd love to hang out in the sun with my hands on and my richard in some of those girls myself. Nothing wrong with vicariously living we all do it every day. :D
