I just had my new hewlitt packard HP PL5060N plasma installed today.

the installer suggested not watching anything with the black bars, as it may burn into the tv.

he showed me how to stretch the tv image by hitting the aspect button and then zoom.

now that he is gone there are several shows that need stretched and I hit zoom one, zoom two, auto and it doesnt change the size.

I believe the button is working however, because I can go to a high def show and go to 4:3 aspect ratio and it does put the bars up there..


any ideas?

I hate to bug him because i won the tv.
