I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the first optoma grey wolf and the second version call the optoma greywolf II?

I just ordered a 106" greywolf II just for kicks and the price was right. If it sucks Ill just go back to my material I bought off ebay and my homemade screen.

Regardless some places sell the greywolf I for 10 bucks less but the sellers do not know the difference beteen the GWI and GWII.

Any one out there know the difference or was this screen a failed gimick of 2005?

GWI is the first model, older, and not likely available for sale anywhere....I doubt any reputable reseller would be advertising a GWI anywhere any longer.

Any chance they addressed some of the problems with the GWII?

I have a graywolf I, also wondering what exactly is new about the Graywolf II, if anything. Works ok, but considering switching to the Dalite Highpower.

I have had the GWII for 2 years for my Sanyo Z4 and are generally pleased with it. I recall that when I bought it I did some research and if memory serves me right, the main difference is that GWII has less texture and sparkles (it still has it) than GWI.

Thanks for the information.

I got a fantastic deal, so cant complain.

It will be a step up from my Draper Luma.
