Hey i need to know if the Vp50 DVDO will scale to 2:35 using the HDMI plug ins? all my sources are HDMI and a couple buddies of mine are using the HDQ from lumagen, but i cant use that becuase its only DVI, or should i use a HDMI to DVI plug in and then also seperate my audio back to the Outlaw 990 ? will i loose quality if i do that? i need to know asap all my 2:35 goodies are comming in but how do i get my sources to scale to that which one is best when all sources are 99% HDMI (ie. BDP-S1 bluray, and HD XA2 HD-DVD)
thanks
Derek

Yes. The VP50 offers full aspect ratio control over any and all inputs.

Is it worth it to plug HDMI to DVI cables into all my sources and go with the lumagen HDQ or go HDMI to the vp50 and stay native to the cables??
also could anyone say if the lumgen HDQ is a better scaler and aspect then the VP 50 or could it be the other way around?

The Lumagen in my opinion SCALES better. No ringing. If its 480i film you will be watching, the deinterlacing is about the same. If its 480i video (life sports etc), the VP50 does a better job of deinterlaing.
