Any of you guys and gals have some screen shots (or links) to your projectors with a DIY screen? If so, do any of those shots include HD material? I've really only been able to find SD pictures on most people's screen shots, and was hoping for a little more clarity to examine the DIY materials. Thanks all, I look forward to what you've got.

Here are a few - I posted others in the longer owners thread as well

This is HD DVD of King Kong, xbox360 outputting 720p, and some bug show on Discovery HD theater:

Love the GOW shots.... Although I'm wondering if this topic would be better suited for the DIY screen sub-forum...?

Hey Y2K, I thought the same thing too when I posted. It seems that the majority of the test material over there has been with CRT projectors. I know there are some digital projector images over there, but a lot of the testing on the screens seems to be with either CRT projectors, or non-HD projectors. There are exceptions obviously. I just care only about the HD1000U, and there don't seem to be enough of those owners over there to get a response that is educated. That's kind of why I shot for this group instead. That's the only reason I stuck it here.

pc...nice shots! What screen is that? Is that a laminate or a commercial screen? Oh, and do either of you know or have experience with curved-screens for this projector? I know they are out there, but I haven't seen anyone discuss it regarding anything other than the Da Lite curved screens. I'd be curious to know what it looks like with this projector.

Thanks guys.

My screen is a laminate DIY screen - "Do-able" board (brand name) from Home Depot. There is a long thread about the material in the DIY screen forum. I saved an easy $400 - $500 building my own screen and it was exceedingly simple.

Fabulous. pc, would you mind me PMing you some questions if they arise? This is my first venture into this arena, so I'm trying to get everything coordinated before I get too far ahead of myself and screw something up. Thanks for the input man, most appreciated.

I am planning on doing the Wilson Art DW laminate for my HD1000. I should get the projector tomorrow. I have not ordered the screen material yet though.
