Got the Sirius Sportster Replay unit for Christmas, which we use in the van...plus, we also got the Home Docking Station, so my wife could use it at work, too, and the reception is amazing. It gets a signal everywhere! I wrote in another post that even in my wife's cubicle, without a view of the sky, we still get a 3-bar signal! So yeah, awesome. :D

In the van, we run it through the FM antenna, and 99% of the time it's a crystal clear signal. So I'm very happy with that, too. However, when I tried to see what it sounded like through the van's aux inputs, there's a slight distorted hum. My wife gets it through her computer's audio jacks at work, too. I've shut the FM transmitter off, like it says to do when you connect through an aux input, but that hasn't worked. Could it be the cable? The unit itself? Any suggestions?

Hey, thanks! I'm definitely going to try this out. It would appear that the problem is more common than I thought. I wonder what's causing it, though.

Thanks again for the link.

I'm using a ground loop isolator from Radio Shack on my XM Roady XT and Sirius Starmate Replay, I was experiencing electronic noise on the Roady and acceleration noise the Starmate. The GLI's solved the problem in both cases.
