View Full Version : a SWEET display for the Nintendo Wii Gamedev123 01-04-07, 09:50 AM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16889187015 If I had the cash... If I only had the cash... ;-( HorrorScope 01-04-07, 09:53 AM That is a solid price, to note though that is a business class display. Gamedev123 01-04-07, 11:30 AM Yeah, no tuner. But man would it rock as a Wii-dedicated display! Phaffendorf 01-04-07, 11:50 AM I see your 42'' and raise you my 10 foot diagonal screen + HD projector. :D Hatecrime69 01-04-07, 12:12 PM might not have a built in tuner, or speakers..but how big of an issue is that anyway? If anything it gets rid of stuff people bypass anyway (or are forced to bypass when using cable boxes and the like) :) Nice price for a 42" screen..just get your nice sound setup, wish i could afford it too :) Ferris409 01-04-07, 01:29 PM That's the one I have, actually -- but the 8th Gen instead of the 9th. I have a cable box, and two bookshelf speakers that plug right into the display. That one, also, I believe is the ED version -- I have the HD. The Wii looks great. Absolutely zero complaints. Gamedev123 01-04-07, 06:58 PM Ok, here's a followup to a competing product... Different, but still nice for Wii-ing! http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,2074371,00.asp You'll need a VGA-to-component adapter though... |
