Hey guys, and gals?

I am moving into a new house ( taking a break right now)... my house so I get to do whatever I want, IB sub etc. Well, the new house has a family room and a living room so guess what the living room is going to be, my first dedicated home theater!

The room is a bit on the narrow side, only about 12' wide and from front to back its 18' with 8' ceilings and in the back of the room there is a closet which the lower part has to be used as a coat closet but the top ( its floor to ceiling) is going to be my gear rack. I am going to run electrical to this space and put in speaker wall plates and all that good stuff... no more wires hanging on the walls!

Anyway, I would like to mount my projector in that space. It is going to be open while I watch a movie and its a pretty wide closet so I should not have to worry about heat too much, I may put in a fan though if it becomes an issue.

I looked at the calc at projector central and it shows that at this throw distance screen size is going to be 143" diag. ( this is allowing an additional 6" for the shelf and what not) OBIVOUSLY 143" is way too big, I am thinking 120" is more like it. I have 110" now and sit about 13' away and its great.

Is 143" the smallest size I can get at this throw distance? I don't really want to ceiling mount as I would like to have everything in one place and because I don't want to pay for long runs of hdmi and what not. Also, I am 6'3 and as I mentioned the ceiling is 8'...

No big hurries here because I just took the first load today.

You are going to have to splurge for a z4. Luckily with the rebate its not much more.

I already own the Z3 though. My tax time splurge this year will be a HDA2 and some hd dvds. My projector was last years splurge.
