My Sony Wega Trinitron KV-32HS510 has a dvi-d port that is EIA-861 and HDCP compliant (according to the manual). I want to hook up my dell docking station that has a dvi-d port to the TV. I really really want to try hooking the docking station up to the tv and play games off of my laptop in the best possible resolution. The Sony tv manual says that the dvi-d port is "not intended for use with personal computers". I am really itching to try making this connection but afraid that I might break something. Please help me out with more information.
