About 50 years ago, when my family moved to Southern California, there was a working dairy about two blocks from where we lived. When the wind was right (or should I say wrong!) the smell was pretty bad. We didn't care about any greenhouse gases, just the odor!
Bye.

That cow looks like she's been hooked up with Flatulante. (http://www.bobandtom.com/gen3/track_listing/wonderful_laugh.htm)
The emissions are primarily burps that come up when chewing cud. You know the ones, they are delicious.
Conveniently precluding the CATTLE-LYTIC CONVERTER?
facts:
>methane is an oderless gas. burps do not contain the high sulfur content present in farts
>burping as a behavioural problem is much higher in human beings than cows. They are almost non-existant in cows
>human beings have a much higher fart/burp ratio than cows (albeit cows burp alot)
>cows have to burp, but you don't have to drive SUVs
>All ruminating(note 'ruminating' not flatulating) animals produce methane such as goats and sheep

goats mounting an attack on the ozone layer
Don't need scratch and sniff to practically smell a boozy ruminating bovine pulling another *britany*
(repercolating drool, swill, and chew)

Shuddup
I can stop any time I want
ya know the little patch of hair on a cows head is scratch and sniff. You should try it sometime.

Hope you don't mind me back here, i'm a bit thirsty.
Where do you think your bottled water comes from?
I defer to (igneous) chemiluminescent billies.
Besides the curtains don't match the carpet. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/images/icons/icon3.gif
what are you talking about, and what does 'billies' mean?
What do you think it means?
don't have the slightest idea. never heard of the word ( /-/ 3 /2 cl of the vv 3 /2 cl )
How cold is that? A cow posts goats and doesn't even know what they are?
Unlike sheep, goats easily revert to feral or wild condition given a chance. In fact, the only domestic species which will return to a wild state as rapidly as a goat is the domestic cat.
don't have the slightest idea. never heard of the word In your defense that one is all but impossible to Moogle... :D

Too much white noise about Dave Mathews...Urban legend, etc.
Last time I went tripping billies, it was actual yard art mini-goats. You can fling them around and they are nervous jumpers -- they kind of like it. But almost impossible to contain. They chew up everything in sight and then some.
(and of course you need proper zoning before you start a herd)

Cow's problem is so bad, they're taxing it in New Zealand. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/3005740.stm)

If distance makes you more comfortable then may I interest you in cowscapes:

...I love it. I guess cows can't drink regular milk because it would be like humans drinking, well, human milk. Not that babies don't. OK, I'll stop here.

If there ever was a cow like that, with antlers instead of horns, I bet it would have some of the tastiest steaks ever!
You can't beat a thick elk or moose steak!
(But prime rib from Steve's Dakota Grill in Ohio is the best bovine flesh I've ever had.)

Nothing more natural then a calf drinking a tall cold glass of human milk extracted in a certified uptown clinic with a breastpump .
