I have a PS3 and have been enjoying movies and games with it. I use a Monster DVI converter to get the DVI to my Sony RPTV. I want to get the high-resolution digital audio stream to my dac (Lynx Aurora). But it only goes through the HDMI output. I do not have or want an A/V reciever.

Is there a switcher or something that will move the digital audio signal from the HDMI and output it through coax?

Gefen has a new product that does this but it outputs toslink. Toslink can't support much above 16 bit audio. I'd like to get high resolution signals like 24/96 or 24/192. I see that Key digital switchers might do this, but it is $1200 ( I have a message into their customer support to find out).

Any ideas?

The PureLink HS-42A HDMI Switcher (http://www.purelinkav.com/hs_42a.htm) ($699.00) has a coaxial audio output.
