Im heading to Las Vegas for CES. I am registered as a rep of AVS Forum. On CESweb it says I need proof, such as a paycheck stub. Everyone tells me its no big deal to get in but I need to be certain, as Ive spent alot of money on travel and hotel arrangments, so I dont want to be turned away when I get there. Anyone know what I should do? Thanks

I am sorry but you have NO RIGHT to register on behalf of AVS Forum without permission from us. And such permission is NOT and WAS NOT granted. I highly suggest you modify your registration with CES.

I posted in August asking the question, and this is what Alan Gouger suggested I do. Im sorry.

Alan did? I will need to get on him about that. Sorry. For reason of misrepresentations this is not something that would be allowed for because our name would be tied to your id and thus things you be told or access you may be granted based on the AVS name.

Ok sorry. Well I beleive I can change my registration still to a fake company. But what should I do as proof. Are they going to interrogate me or is a business card for company-x going to be enough?

Usually a business card works just fine.

I reregistered. Had to pay this time, but thats okay. I wanted to call my company "Cyberdyne Systems" but too many people could figure that one out, haha.
