I am pretty new to HD-DVD. We bought the HD-DVD player for our 360 (got a great deal- $160) and have really only watched King Kong. I am very impressed with it. My buddy tells me that he doesn't see much of an improvement, but it's so very clear to me that he's just jealous.
Anyhow, I have been looking at the HD and BD titles and there are so many more interesting titles on the BD side. And when thinking about it more, titles like Star Wars may never even make it to HD-DVD, which really sucks. The point I am really trying to make here is that if all the studios really cared about their customers, why not support both formats until a winner emerges? I understand there is a cost involved, but as a consumer, it's frustrating to take a stand on one side and see so many more enticing movies (released or potential) on the other side.
Knowing that many are probably biased in this forum, really, who is winning the war at this point? From reports I have been reading, HD is winning, which I love to hear of course.
