Also The Chorus (Les choristes) and Sky Fighters (Les chevaliers du ciel), but they are in French only without any subtitles.
efralope 01-05-07, 05:38 AM Is there a release date on these?
I'm very interested in importing 2 Brothers. My little sister wanted to see this at the theatre and since we never went, it would be a nice surpise to bring this movie home during the summer...

March 7.
DanielTS 01-05-07, 09:41 AM Hopefully Pathé will set up a subtitles download server, or someone will find out how to add extra subtitles:

Matt_Stevens 01-05-07, 12:19 PM I absolutely adore ENEMY AT THE GATES. Fantastic film! The Showtime airing is very good. I had it on DVHS for years.
Ktulu_1 01-05-07, 01:13 PM YAY! I'm totally gonna buy Enemy at the Gates.
The titles are now up for preorder at Amazon.fr!
Pacific231 03-26-07, 12:50 PM the very bad things is that the new pathe release dont work on many HD A1 - firmware 2.0 : they just dont boot and we have the 'no disc' message - I have this with '2 brothers' , 'stalingrad' and 'the chorists' - too bad, I returned the discs to amazon.fr (easy for me)
some other guys with A1 had very long boot time (about 2 minutes)
so by now beware of pathe release. There is rumors of firm 2.1 ? True or not ?
best regards

Alexander is coming to HD-DVD in the US in form of the definitive DC. It was announced and Warner pulled it. They announced it as a dual (BD and HD) release, so maybe it included IME features and was being held back for PiP support on BD-J.

I've reviewed all three editions of the movie on DVD, and the theatrical cut is still the best, most coherent version of the story.
Add another no go with Enemy at the Gates. Same message as most "no disc"
Has anyone sent this back to xploitedcinema?
I'd be surprised if the BD/HD release of Alexander Revisited were being held back for BDJ, considering the only special feature on the DVD version is a 3 and a half minute introduction. More likely they're holding it back because the film was a flop and Revisited probably hasn't pulled in people who didn't watch at least one version prior.
Still, I like Revisited. If you're going to watch a misguided historical epic, might as well watch it with more frontal nudity and elephant stomped heads than ever before. :)

Yeah, I picked up Two Brothers at the Virgin Megastore in Paris and then tried to play it when I got home -- "No disc." :(
I get no disc for Stalingrad on my XA1. Firmware 2.1 apparently does not help but I will update anyway and let people know if there are any improvements.

Anybody tested "2 brothers" on an A2 or XA2 ?

Maybe later tonight on the new XA2.
FrancescoP 04-04-07, 05:16 PM I can't believe there are no english subtitles for Alexander!
