Curious if there any users of the Comcast 6412 out there and their experiences on the quality of the HDMI vs the Components (I guess this can also depend on what you are sending the signal to)..
In particular.. sending it to a Projector (WXGA).. (I'm considering the HD1000U).

I'll let you know for sure later tonight. I have been using my HD1000 with comcast HDTV for a few days now, over component. All I can say is, WOW!! :eek: Discovery Channel HD in 5.1 surround sound on the HD1000 is amazingly amazing. I'll try the HDMI cable tonight, but no matter what, the picture already looks great. It is a huge jump from the average TV watching experience. I could never go back.

I think I may run nothing but HDMI, as to be future compatible, I think you need HDMI for 1080p anyways (DVD too).
As long as it doesnt make the picture worse.. then I guess I wont care (this may also be quality of cable/TV/projector (HD1000U) related too) :)
