Just curious with other's experiences. I finally got my Wii connected online through a new cheap wireless router I picked up, but it wasn't easy. The Wii doesn't find any networks when it searches on its own, despite both mine and some neighbors showing up on our laptops.
I couldn't get it to connect to my network manually, even if I disabled all security until I manually entered an IP address for it. I then managed to enable WPA security, but it won't connnect with WPA2 security.
So, long story short, it works fine, but it seems to be really touchy to get it to connect. I'm just curious if others found it tempermental also. I was all set to exchange the thing as having a defective wireless ethernet adapter until I tried the one last IP address trick and it finally worked.
