Basically trying to attach my Wii to my LG 37'' LC2D and get the following results:
So as you can see it's SOO bright but also lacks detail, can see the ground at all pretty much in the plaza, no matter how much i tweak my TV. Any ideas ?!?!?
Wasn't sure to post here or in the LCD section, someone has suggested going into the service menu of my LCD ? ?
I have tested the Wii and cable on another LCD and works fine.
edit: did have pics but unable to post them as haven't got enough post :(

Could be that whatever input you put it on has the display settings jacked way up. I would think most televisions have discreet settings for each input. I'm sure you've checked already, so who knows?

Snow - If you have Contrast (white level) turned all the way down (turn down the sharpness too - looks like way too much edge enhancement) and still have this issue, then check all component connections, expecially the green (Y-luminance) to make sure they're seated correctly.
If you're running through a switcher/receiver, try running directly to the display.
To isolate the problem, try a different source (DVD player, Cable Box) attached to the component input and see if the results are similar. You could also try the Wii on a different display device. At least you'll have an idea where the issue is.
Good luck.

well i personally think it is Nintendo issue with certain LCD or settings as looks like it isn't just be getting the problem but other makes.
definatly not the cable or brightness either as the 360 is perfectly fine.
Tried calling LG and they just fobbed me off saying to try another LCD in a shop.
I'm not sure how this could be a Nintendo issue if your Wii and cables work fine on another TV. It's not like the Wii knows what type of TV it is hooked up to. Have you tried another component input on your TV? You said the 360 looks fine. Is that the same component input you are having problems with on the Wii?
