I have a bedroom where the cable jack comes out of the wall on the oppostive side of the room from where I want to put my tv. I don't want to room coax cable all the way around my room. Is there a device where I can plug into the coax coming out of the wall and it will wirelessly transmit the cable signal across the room to the tv?

No. You could put a cable box where the cable is and try one of those "rabbit" things, might work being in the same room.

Yes they make wireless video transmistters. Depending on your setup, something like this http://www.avdeals.com/transmitters.htm may or may not work for you.

No, it does not have a tuner in it. You must use a tuner to decode the channels. This is why you must either

1. Get a cable box (tuner) and connect it to wireless video transmitter
2. Run coax directly to tv, using tuner in TV.

These wireless transmitters can only transmit one tuned channel at a time, so in addition to the Rabbit or whatever transmitting an audio-video signal from one room to another, an arrangement must be made for your remote control to change channels on the tuner. Some wireless A/V transmitter products have the capability to support the remote control, but others do not.

Why don't you just fish a new coax or re-arange your room? The video senders are generally junk and a short-term fix.

I agree, retro a new line to your new location. If you do not have glowrods or fishtape for an internal wall fish from an attic, unfinished basement, or crawl space, run it exterior. Depending on your service, (cable or satellite) they may be able to do this for you reasonably and in new connects/new installs or a mover installation it could possibly be for free.
