I've bought the component video adapter, which includes 3 video and 2 audio jacks. How do you hook this up to a 3805 to take advantage of the HD??

Just hook up the 3 component video cables (Red, Blue, Green) to one of the 3 inputs on the receiver, and then a component video cable from the receiver to you TV. Alternatively, you could bypass the receiver completely and just hook up the PS3 component cable directly to the TV.
