Just bought a SB Audigy to connect to my HT. Unfortunately, I don't have the option of using Analog 5.1 (Kenwood VR-405). I have, connected to the soundcard, a mono 3.5mm to RCA thats plugged into the COAX input on my receiver. I have everything on the pc configured to output into 5.1, but the receiver outputs everything in stereo. I cannot manually select Dolby Digital. Im currently stuck in Pro Logic ( ).
If anyone has had this problem before or can help me out, I would really appreciate it!

While Creative's sound cards can pass DD, DTS and WMA9 Pro bitstreams, they will not encode audio into DD or DTS on-the-fly. Therefore, you are stuck with stereo signals for sources that aren't pre-encoded in DD, DTS or WMA9 Pro.

For 5.1 gaming with an SPDIF output, you should look into a sound card like those in the Auzentech line. You want a card with support for DD Live and/or DTS Connect/Interactive.
