since there is another rumor that claims that a revised xbox 360 (code name zephyr, with hdmi port) will hit shelfs soon, i'm wondering if i'll still be able to use surround sound since my receiver doesnt' have an hdmi switcher or anything of the sort.
but the tv i'm going to buy either the samsum lns-4095D or the sony kdl-40v2500, which both have digital audio out x1.
lets say that the hdmi xbox does come out, do i have to buy another receiver for the hdmi audio capabilites or can i just use the optical sound out from the tv to the current receiver i have???
i hope i mak sense. any input would be appreciated.
