Hi - I am not sure if I should post this here or in the accessories forum so apologies in advance if I'm in the wrong place.

I am currently modelling my HT in Sketchup and am planning on using Berkline 090 seating. There's a dimension that I can't seem to locate and it's not on their documentation of these seats so I thought I might ask a kind soul to measure theirs and let me know.

If the seats were full reclined and up agains the wall in the back - what's the distance from the wall to the front edge of the arms on either side of the seat?

Perhaps a pic might help - see below. As you will see, it will impact the width of the step on my riser - and also tell me how much I can pull the seats away from the wall to minimize poor sound for the rear row.

Thanks !

Lewis

Hi Lewis!

I'm not sure if this will help you or not. I do not have my 090's flush against the wall and I do not want to move them because the Buttkickers are all wired.

When I fully recline the back of the headrest to the front of the armrest is about 42 inches. Add another 24 inches if you want to consider to depth of the footrest when reclined. The distance from the wall to the front of the armrest remains the same whether the chairs are upright or reclined since the armrests are stationary.

My 090's are in the slightly curved arrangement and the back of the center seat is about 18 inches from the wall. I'm sure we could move them back a few more inches if we needed to without compromising the sound too much. If it helps- my riser is 7 feet deep.

Good Luck!!

Hi Kari

That's exacltly the information that I can use. Thanks very much!! I'll get back to the modelling on the computer now and see what I can make work in my layout.

Best Regards,
Lewis
