Hi I have searched through alot of threads and have not found any info on what the users of these forums have there XBOX 360 VGA SETTINGS, set at.
Can you guys please let me know what VGA settings you use for the HL-s5087w ??
Thanks alot any help will be greatly appreciated. Also please state if game mode is off or on. Thanks. :)
This is what I'm using and I've not had the urge to make any changes both with watching HD-DVD, SD-DVD, or games.
Mode: Normal
Contrast: 60
Brightness: 52
Color Tone: Normal
I've not used game mode for any of my inputs coming from a game console.

I forgot that was my setting with game mode on. I have since turned it off because the colors looked saturated. I leave game mode off now. Here are my settings with it off.
Mode: Normal
Contrast: 47
Brightness: 42
Color Tone: Warm 2

w/ some changes to color reference to pass the color test in this calibration, also I have set my gamma settings to 0 because according to a well respected ISF calibrator provides a curve of 2.5 which makes me :D lol. Also turned Dynamic Black off and set the iris to "off/closed" (Its not really closed). Now I have a great picture for both games and especially movies with no washed out look. I do not use game mode ever. BTW overscan is off.

Does anyone know how to break into the service menu of the Samsung HL-S5688W?, so I can adjust the color, sharpness, and tint... the VGA port doesnt give you to many options to change./ they are grayed out.
side note: Please note the other inputs are all independent of eachother, so you cant adjust the HDMI input and use those settings for the VGA port.

Be careful with what you are doing. Also, turn off overscan. It will stick with the 88 model.
