Im was looking at getting the LG 37" or the LG 42" because of the vga port, but then i found out that the vga limits to 1024x768 it does have an hdmi port, and i was wondering if theres any way to use the upscaling feature of the vga ports with the hdmi port, I think i will upgrade to the "Zephyr" when it comes out so it will only be temp.

You're better off waiting. This seems to come up over and over again. You'll need a transcoder and one that has any decent quality will cost as much as a core 360.
