The coaxial digital input (with the orange center) on your reciever is an audio digital input and Not not a tv/video input. So if your other device.dvd player has a coaxial out use that.
Look at the picture attached on the left side that says "Coaxial" digital it is an audio connection which is either orange in the center or black but not yellow, yellow is a composite video connection only.

IDK maybe i didnt make this clearer (which it may have been)
What i have:
3 optical inputs on my reciever
1 coaxial input on my reciever
What i have to go into them:
1 optical output on my ps2
1 optical output from computer
therefore i have an extra optical input for which to recieve an optical cable from a dvd player which i am looking to buy that has an optical out
because the coaxial input is currently being occupied by my tv which has a digital output (coaxial)
therefore i am looking for a cheap dvd player with a digital output (audio)
that is located at BB CC or W-M
respectfully, w-m being wal-mart bb being best buy and cc lastly being circuit city
