Hi there,
This is likely going to sound really dumb to everyone out there, but I really appreciate any advice. I just moved into my new place and the previous owners had the satellite tv cable running into the basement and living room. I want to take the cable that runs into the living room and run it upstairs into my master bedroom. The two rooms are on top of one and other, so essentially I figure I need to wire fish...which I don't know how to do. Just wanted to see if anybody has any tips that can help me get this done. If you do, either reply to this thread, pm me or send an email to: sapjohns@dal.ca
Thanks so much,

SJ

We routed ours by drilling a hole then taping the cable to a straightened out coat hanger and fishing it downstairs.

Most of the new Sat dishes(directv) have 4 outputs, it might be easier to run a new line from the dish to the Upper room and leave the basement and living room cables where they are

Thanks for the info; once the ice is gone from the roof, I'll check to see if there are 4 outputs, and if so run a cable straight into the bedroom.
Thanks again,

SJ
