I really like this game, too. It's pretty basic, but highly addictive! Having said that, it's probably one of the hardest games I've ever played, difficulty-wise. A million things come after you at once! My brain lapses into a coma about 1 minute into the second level. :o (So that's about as far as I can ever get.)

One thing that really impresses me about the game (or the PS3) is that despite an insane amount of stuff going on, there's absolutely zero lag in it. I just came from playing X-Men Legends on Game Cube and any time there was a huge boss battle, the lag was horrendous. So yeah, I'm LOVING the PS3!

Dude,

Buy the whole game. Let her play it through until she beats the game. When she beats the last level, pop the question. It's like that statistics you hear about regarding a successful proposal. Typically happens at a ball game, and when your team scores, or wins you pop the question. You'll have 25% more chance of 'yes!!!'

Then again, the down side with chicks who likes violent postal video games is that they could go postal on you when you f-up!

First off fiancee means he already asked her and awaiting to get married. Second, all females arent going to say yes when you let her play a game. How old are you?

Having just popped the question as well, I'd say also, if you need that extra 25%, then well, good luck to you going forward!

The levels on this game last WAY too long. They need to be short and sweet (no more than 60secs ala Blast Factor). I bought the full version and like Blast Factor much more.

On the porn tip......

Digital Playground is backing Blu-Ray. And Vivid is also showing interest. There is hope. ;)

I tried this yesterday and was not impressed. Too reminiscent of the old arcade game... the name escapes me just now. But super primitive gameplay that got old in the demo pretty quick.

Smash TV and Total Carnage

And I think it was supposed to be like the old arcade game...which enjoyed some success on XBox Live and is a cult favorite for some people. Super primitive gameplay? I suppose 2D shooters are...

Dude, you've got to be careful. This will seriously effect your playing time. I have sat waiting, impatiently mind you, for my wife to quit playing that damn Go Sudoku so I can play RFOM online! Seriously, the PS3 has been a treat for my whole family. My 5 year old son calls it the HB3 player. We get a kick out of him asking to play "the HB3 player". Even though I can't stand waiting, I find myself starting to help her with the puzzles and amazingly it becomes very addictive! Good luck with your playing time. :D

No one else but me thinks this game is ridiculously hard?!?!?
Am I THAT inept? (Level 2 is harder than the final boss battles on Metroid Prime!)
Maybe I'm losing my knack.

What's the furthest all of you have gone?

I played it for about 5 minutes last night...this game is difficult for me because of the angles. I don't like looking down on the action...

I guess if you get into a corner, you can blast all these things coming at you easier but does the money disappear after a while? I didn't play long enough to find out.

Plus, I hate trying to aim a weapon using the analog joysticks...my thumbs aren't precise enough

Imprecise thumbs for this game=frequent death! :o Haha.
Yeah, you can stay in the corners, but the money does disappear after about 20 seconds, so you'd be hooped stuck in the corner. And if you think the first level is crazy...you have NO idea! Insanity.

One saving grace for me in this game, is that I really like the music. I wonder who does it. It's actually really catchy.

My thumbs are too arthritic to be precise enough for this or Resistance demo (they don't slide around, they tend to pop and grind). Arthritic fingers at 31...I should have listened to mom about cracking my fingers.
I have gotten so used to the mouse on a FPS that trying to move the joystick has me over doing it.

So, after finally finishing Level 2 :D Now I'm into Level 3, dang cars coming out with more clowns(?). Took awhile, but I figured out that I CAN kill the cars just takes a looong while. Hmm, it never gave me a target so this must be the I'm gonna gitcha round.

This is a pretty addictive little game, for when I need something brainless. I guess I'll look for it in the stores.

The game is kind of hard but after about 4 game overs I beat the whole demo. It was a fun time killer.
