I am using the calculator on the projectorcentral website to determine my screen size and throw distance etc... One thing I cannot figure out is how far off the floor the screen will be. I do not have my room finished yet, so I cannot test it. My projector (HD70) will be mounted on the 8' ceiling at a distance of 14' and throwing a 101" image. I'd like to know where this puts my screen in relation to the floor? I need to plan for center channel location etc... Someone please clue me in on how to calculate this. Thanks in advance - Steve

I suggest downloading a manual for the PJ model you have to get the accurate info you seek. My Sharp 10000 unit specifies the distance in the manual. Some of the PJ sites also have this listed as well.

I will give you an idea of this but I will have to post it later tonight or tomorrow. Sounds like your specs are the same setup that I have. Only difference is I have the hd72 and I have a little larger image.
