Are there any Statement D2 owners that have had any luck with DTS audio from a PS3 over HDMI?

I couldn't get the DTS soundtrack on Sleepy Hollow to register on my D2 over HDMI.

DTS *is* enabled in the PS3 HDMI Audio Setup.

If I switch to the optical cable on the PS3 the DTS soundtrack works fine.

Any ideas? TIA!

Let me answer my own question then.

I had to switch the Disc Audio Setting from Linear PCM -> Bitstream on the PS3.

Then the DTS audio track made it over HDMI to my Anthem Statement D2.

I am new to this but wanted to share my terrible experience with Anthem and Pardigm.
I paid $50,000 for a system with Anthem D2V, Anthem P5, Signature S8s fronts, C5 center, ADP 3 surrounds, and Signature Sub. Source componenets Denon Universal player, Oppo player, Cable box.

The system sounded awful. The installer had no clue as to how complex the Anthem is. Despite 3 different installers trying to fix this, the system sounded so bad that, within a month I had traded in everything except the D2v.
I will get rid of the D2v too, if I can find a really good processor.

Moral of the story:
1. NEVER buy based on reviews- THERE ARE NEVER ANY BAD REVIEWS!!
2. AUDITION EVERYTHING
3. LESS COMPLEX MAY BE BETTER FOR MOST OF US MORTALS
4.BUILD YOUR SYSTEM SLOWLY AND BE VERY VERY PATIENT

Thanks folks for listening

That's all good equipment. Sounds like something really got fouled up on the installation. Three different installers couldn't figure out how to connect a power amp, a set of speakers, and some sources as well documented as the Oppo? Incredible.

What are you using with your D2v now?

Would you like help figuring out how to do it right, or are you too pissed off right now for that?

The PS3 decodes all tracks to high bandwidth multi-channel LPCM for you, so there's no need to send the undecoded DTS track to your D2. Just leave the PS3 in HDMI LPCM audio and make sure the HDMI audio setup in the PS3 has all of the LPCM formats enabled up to 5.1 at 96Khz.

Note that once the PS3 has done the decoding, there's no way for the D2 to learn what format that track used to be. That's why the DTS light doesn't turn on in the D2. That is the D2 is receiving the LPCM rather than the undecoded DTS.
