Hello;
I've been looking around for an affordable DVD player but will definitely have value. i was looking at Sony, but looks like i've seen three different models (used/new:
DVP-NS71HP - $99
DVP-NS75H - $130
DVP-NS70H - $50

Just curious if any of the models really stands out above the rest (and would make it worth paying more than the other), if it's just the HDMI cable...i get the $10 ones from HDMi, so it's hard to justify an extra $40-80 for it. Anyway just wanted to know people's experience with any/all of these Sony DVD player models..thank you very much.

The 75 and the 71 are the same. The 71 is the model sold by costco and comes with a 1.5 meter HDMI cable included and costco's can't be beat return policy. The 70 predates the 75. Many posters who like the 75 had the 70 before and said it had several significant problems. I plan on buying the 71 Friday if my costco has it or the 75 at a local B&M. If I am not satisfied with the PQ, I will return and get one of the Oppo's instead.
