Can both players use mics when playing splitscreen GOW on XBOX Live?

I have noticed only the main controller works with the mic. The guest does not.

To use a mic with the second controller, the other person must be logged into a separate GOLD account. When you're using 1 GOLD account with a guest then the guest won't be able to use a mic.

You can use one gold and a guest but the guest can't mic up.

Thanks for clearing it up for me guys. I guess I won't buy a second mic now.

Yep. Click on versus in the Gears menu. Then you should see at the bottom where it says Press "Y" for guest sign in. Be sure and choose guest account with the second controller. You should then see Scmedic and Scmedic(1) at the bottom. Then you can join a match and both of you will be in it.
