hi i have a 60gb hooked up threw hdmi and internet threw wifi and im interested in downloading linux. but a few questions

1) does it support wifi?

2)will your demos get deleted when you split your hd?

3)can you download programs such as online poker or itunes?

4) can you play PC games that support linux?

thanks for any help you have my main reason why i would want linux is so i can download programs such as aim, poker, online music, ect. thanks for the help

thanks dam =/ real dissapointed soo wait how is it like a PC? and how is it ps3 friendly no wifi? you cant download programs? im pretty sure thts what most of us use computers for. soo unless you wanna write a book or play blackjack or brag about how you have linux is it useless in my situation?

dbirdRM, I think if you have to ask those questions then honestly Linux would never be the OS for you. It has nothing to do with the PS3 but it's just that Linux demands a pretty high level of computer know-how to actually attain good functionality.
